Diane Burt, daughter of legendary carol composer, Alfred Burt, is carrying on the musical legacy established by her father. So get ready to "Deck the Halls" and unwrap a new Christmas CD by the nationally acclaimed a cappella ensemble, THE CAROLING COMPANY. Diane started THE CAROLING COMPANY, a professional LA-based singing group, to represent her father's
carols in their original form, a cappella.

The CD features eight carols composed by Alfred Burt, best known for such classics as "Caroling, Caroling", "Some Children See Him" and "The Star Carol", all of which are featured on this recording. Her grandfather, Bates G. Burt, is represented in the haunting words of "Jesu Parvule."

"A Christmas Present from The Caroling Company" is jam-packed with 25 fresh new vocal arrangements of traditional favorites such as "What Child Is This", "Merry Christmas Darling", "Let It Snow", "Rudolph" and more. You may recognize two of the songs, "Carol of the Bells" and "Deck the Halls" performed by this popular ensemble in the opening credits of Paramount Pictures hit movie, "The Addams Family."
